Azim, a form three school boy is the eldest of five brothers and sisters in the family, his mother works as a clerk in a small company. He loves to study and regularly come to the reading centre because he could meet new friends, gain more knowledge and use the facility here. He hopes to be a lawyer in future. He said, "Firstly, I want to thank you for supporting this Teratak Sinar. This place has many facilities."

Anis, a form three school girl, likes to smile, and wants to be a singer in future. Her favorite singer is Aishah. Anis loves to study and hopes to enter university. Her father is in the army and her whole family had just moved to this place from Langkawi. She loves this reading centre because: 'I like to learn something new besides school works, and be able to relate well with friends here'.  
Anis further said "Anis nak mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Kak Ani dan kawan kawan. Anis rasa bangga kerana dapat meramah mesra sesama rakan-rakan dan orang di sini. Anis nak mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Kelab Teratak Sinar. Anis juga dapat belajar benda-benda yang baru ..terima kasih banyak-banyak" (Anis wants to thank the volunteers at the center, feeling so close with friends there, and thank the volunteers that she can learn many new things there).

Amirul, a standard six student, whose father is a fish monger, and mother a housewife. He has one sister and four brothers. His ambition is to be a pilot. He loves reading. He has an unforgettable experience when he first step foot to the capital city Kuala Lumpur, it was a first time for him to experience the KLCC building and scenery in the city. "

Peristiwa yang saya tidak dapat lupakan semasa saya menjejak kaki ke menara KLCC. Ini lah pertama kali saya nampak bangunan yang tinggi, saya berasa sangat gembira". He said " Terima kasih kepada orang yang membuka tempat ini untuk saya menambah ilmu" (Thank you so much for opening this Reading Room so that I can gain more knowledge).
